Adopt-A-Horse Adopt-A-Horse is a program where you and three others sponsor a therapeutic horse. A sponsor's donation of $600 annually or $50 a month helps pay for the horse's feed, farrier, vet, and nutritional supplements. A plaque carrying the sponsor's name is placed on the horse's stall and on the adopt a horse wall with a picture of the horse that you choose to sponsor. You will receive updates on your newly adopted horse and have the opportunity to visit by appointment.

The equine assisted therapy program in a mentally and physically challenging job for a horse. Good therapy horses are sound at the walk, trot and canter, with three rhythmic and balanced gaits. We are looking for horses which consistently obey voice as well as leg signals. They should be quiet and well-mannered on the ground and willing to accept assistive devices and equipment. The horse must work easily in hand and tolerate one or two people walking and trotting beside it. We prefer horses who are 18 years old or younger and under 16.2 hands tall.
